The UBI Banca Group (Unione di Banche Italiane) ranks amidst the top five Italian banking groups and amongst the top 30 Eurozone goups. It continues to enjoy favourable ratings from the international ranking agencies (A1, P-1 and F-1 on the short term, and A, A1 and A+ on the long term from Standard & Poors, Moody’s, and Fitch respectively).
Created on April 1st, 2007 through the merger of BPU Group
and Banca Lombarda Group, UBI now represents a major player
in the fast-consolidating Italian banking market. With some
22.000 staff, a network of almost 1.950 branches, and a market
capitalization of about Euro asof 6.4 billion at December 31st,
2009, UBI plays a leading role in bringing value to its customers
